LDD’s package included the strip out and refurbishment of an original bullion store to extend and create a 90,000 sq ft HQ a leading tech company to include offices and data / node centre.

Strip Out: LDD undertook the complete strip out of 8 floors (from basement to roof) over a phased program. Internally, plasterboard and glass partitions, raised access floor, services and SER rooms were taken back to shell and core.

Around the full perimeter of the building, LDD removed 600 aluminium windows and engaged the services of a specialist asbestos contractor to ensure the absence of ACM’s and the safety of our operatives, others within the site and the public interface.

BWIC: Our Builderswork package was wide ranging from basement drainage, external paving, forming concrete upstands and the complete build, including groundworks, of a new UKPN substation.

Diamond Drilling & Passive Fire Protection: LDD used the latest plant technology to drill various depths through walls and slab for new service runs. Our Fire Protection team sealed existing and new service penetrations to ASFP and FIRAS standard. Structural Fire Protection included the encasement of cables and SER rooms to achieve 2 hour fire rating and application of intumescent coatings to new steels.

Throughout the project we achieved zero down time due to incidents and no accidents. Of 860 tonnes of demolition waste removed as part of our works was 99.02% recycled at licensed waste facilities with 0% to landfill.
