The Oxford Circus store is H&M’s flagship UK branch and with the planned expansion was to become the biggest store in Europe. Throughout construction, the store had to trade uninterrupted with only minimal loss of overall floor area and all areas had to be completed ready for the Christmas period.
Noisy works, waste removal and concrete pumping were all completed during agreed periods outside of normal working hours to comply with Westminster Council’s stringent rules and the store opening hours.
